Ms Sarah Flint, FRCOG

Ms Sarah Flint has been a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist since 1999 and works in Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust

Her main areas of expertise are in gynaecology ultrasound and fetal medicine. She completed a two year fellowship at Kings College Hospital where she trained in gynaecology ultrasound and fetal medicine under the guidance of Professor Davor Jurkovic and Professor Kypros Nicolaides.

She graduated from Kings College Hospital School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1988. She trained in the south east of England working at Kings College Hospital and St Georges Hospital. She was appointed as a consultant in 1999 at University Hospital Lewisham where she set up a transvaginal ultrasound service and the Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic. In 2002 she moved posts to Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells to lead Fetal Medicine, Obstetric and Gynaecology ultrasound services.

She has held senior leadership positions as the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Head of School for Obstetrics and Gynaecology (2011-2017) supporting the provision of postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology across the region. She held the position of Chief of Service for Womens, Childrens and Sexual Health in her trust for 7 years (2018-2025). She is a trained coach and mentor (ILM level 5 qualification 2022).

She has worked at the Gynaecology Ultrasound Centre since 1999. She is the Clinical Governance lead and Safeguarding lead for Gynaecology Ultrasound Centre.
